At first the prayer was, "God, if you pull me out of this, I'll be a better servant."
Then it became, "God, I don't care if this takes 20 years. I'll keep doing what's right."
That was the breakthrough. Letting go of every expectation of where he "should" be. Following the right principles and trusting that it would pay off at the right time.
Sometimes the turning point isn't pushing harder. It's surrender.
